Turkish Cultural Foundation (TCF) Teacher Seminar

Description: All day session involving local and out of town academics presenting the history of Turkey from its beginning up through modern times. Participation is required for teachers wanting to apply for a 12 day teacher study tour of Turkey funded by the TCF. Turkish food will be served and Turkish music will be played to add ambience. Teacher allotment for 2011 is 3 teachers; the total number of teachers sent to Turkey from St. Louis (2008 through 2011) will be 17.
